00:00 – Introduction
John Wilson: Milton, can't thank you enough for being with us on the CEO Global Network podcast.

00:11 – Milton Bogoch: Thanks, John. Honestly, it's a pleasure.

00:14 – John Wilson: I just want to tell people a bit about you. You're the owner and president of Executive Suites by Roseman, a business you’ve led for 54 years. You’re also a founding member of CEO Global Network in Western Canada. And, fun fact: you’re a champion weightlifter.

01:36 – John Wilson: You’ve led Executive Suites by Roseman for over five decades. What has sustained your passion for hospitality through multiple industry cycles and economic shifts?

01:41 – Milton Bogoch: I believe I can do things better than other people. I believe in myself, my standards, my goals…

02:16 – John Wilson: High-end service is your brand signature. What is one non-negotiable standard you believe every premium hospitality business must uphold to earn true guest loyalty?

02:51 – Milton Bogoch: You have to take care of your customer’s needs. Any idiot can own real estate or furnish it, but understanding the customer is what keeps them coming back.

03:24 – John Wilson: As someone who prioritizes attracting colleagues who want to be the best, what quality or mindset do you look for when building a high-performance hospitality team?

03:54 – Milton Bogoch: You can’t train a hospitality gene. Hire people with built-in kindness, concern, and care for others.

04:00 – John Wilson: You’ve served on several philanthropic boards. How has your philanthropic leadership shaped the way you operate your businesses?

04:15 – Milton Bogoch: I brought business applications to nonprofit work. Focus on service—if your organization isn’t serving, you’re not doing your job.

05:49 – John Wilson: Corporate travel expectations have evolved drastically. If you were launching Executive Suites by Roseman in 2025 instead of 1972, what would you build differently from day one?

05:49 – Milton Bogoch: I would be better capitalized, go bigger, bring in financial and operating partners, and scale nationally rather than regionally.

07:19 – John Wilson: Milton, it’s always a pleasure speaking with you. Thank you for sharing your insights, your life, and your experience with us today.

07:25 – Milton Bogoch: Thank you so very much. Loved it.
